Feels Amazing!
After several hours research on the web watching test videos, it seems quite obvious that the Litelok X3 is the strongest lock out there. I got some of the best U locks, but the LITELOK X3 is another level above. The construction is phenomenal, it feels massively sturdy, and after seeing the test videos, I feel very confident leaving my bike to go shopping and else, I love it and would feel as safe with anything else.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I watched many reviews and saw the ability of the litelok to stand it's ground against angle grinders, this is why I chose the x3 for my motorscooter
It's got a good weight to it and feels sturdy, my philosophy is make it not worth their time so I have the 2x x3's offer and have one on the front and one on the rear, with some careful manoeuvring I can attach the litelok to some ground anchors that have been installed by the councils, The longer they spend trying to get it off the bigger the risk to them so this is my best investment!
If they attempt it I'd rather lose the cost of the lock then have the fallout of a stolen motorbike/insurance costs! plus the cost of the excess is more than the cost of the lock!

I secure my Fox fork to the bike frame to prevent unauthorised removal/theft. The lock cylinder itself is really good; it's smooth to operate and not as stiff as the competition (Kryptonite).
I'll definitely be buying the new x1 Plus now.

A few days after buying the Litelok X3, someone actually tried to steal my scooter while it was parked outside. When I came back, I noticed clear marks on the lock, like they had tried to cut it, but they couldn’t get through it. The scooter was still there, untouched.
Honestly, that moment alone proved the lock was worth every euro. It didn’t just look secure — it did its job when it mattered most. Highly recommended if you want real protection and peace of mind.
I bought the Litelok X3 for my motorcycle and honestly it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. It feels like a “tank” in your hands — extremely solid and high quality. I use it every day in the city and I’m much more relaxed leaving my bike locked up, because it’s clearly not an easy lock to cut through.

I recently ordered 2 Litelok products, the X1 plus and the X3.
The X3 gives me a feeling of total serenity, I know that I no longer have to ask myself questions about the effectiveness of my anti-theft system. All I have to do is pay attention to the fixed point, and I leave with peace of mind.
The ALBOY lock is a real must, because the main risk on anti-grinder products is picking (if at all possible). Here with this ALBOY lock, I am still completely at ease.
The X3 would benefit from having a PLUS version, if it were to come out, I would take it without thinking. Although a bit heavy, I consider that we have nothing without anything, and that considering the product, Litelok was very strong to contain 2.2 kg despite everything
