The LITELOK X3 proved its strength and reliability when it successfully protected Etienne's £2.5k Moustache e-bike from an attempted theft in Maida Vale, West London. The incident occurred overnight between the 14th and 15th of February, when would-be bike thieves targeted the high-value bicycle.

The e-bike was locked to a bike rack on the pavement with the X3 attaching the frame to the bike rack. Etienne also had a chain lock attaching the wheels to the frame.
