Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the most D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

It loos very well made, the addition of the carrier pouch is very handy. The keyhole is protected by rubber and the coating is hard but soft enough to not damage the wheel rims. Good lock.

Most of the time it all works great except when the fixture to lock up a bike are a bit thick and it doesn't always close. But that is the dumb bike fixture.

At first, you would be surprised how heavy it! But it is not a bad thing. It does feel solid and indestructible. Both parts - d shackle and lock, are perfectly tight and there is no wiggle or any loose fit. Downside of this is that you really need to align them perfectly when locking.
Overall it is well worth the money, and I feel a lot more confident about my bike security.

Seems very sturdy, great feel to it and a good locking mechanism. A couple of great touches like the key hole cover and the coating. I hope not to find out how angle grinder proof it really is but I'm pretty confident it'll put the thieves off. Mine fits round my front tyre so they'd have to make 2 cuts ro get it off. Impressed.

I brought this D lock after watching various you tube videos especially Bennets bike social review, it is also rated as angle grinder resistant.
The inner width of the lock enables it to fit over my front wheel that has a 90 90 21 tyre.
With its square shackle locking mechanism it means it would need 2 cuts to be able to remove it, resulting in extra time and discs and batteries if attacked by an angle grinder.
Using the lock gives me piece of mind knowing that my bike will still be there if I have to leave it unattended.
I would recommend this lock.

I've removed the immobiliser from my Triumph Tiger 800 XCX and was looking for a high quality shackle lock to replace it. This was highly recommended in online reviews; very happy with it. It'll be ideal for day-to-day security and to take on bike trips. I also like additional keys can be ordered if needed. Worth the money!
