Without a Doubt The Best Lock in the World
I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about. With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.

Tested against the most D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Barronium® is a fused composite armour that offers unparalleled angle grinder resistance without adding extra weight. It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This is my first motorcycle lock, and after doing quite a bit of research I decided to go with the Litelok X1 — and I’m really glad I did.
Right out of the box the lock feels incredibly solid and well made. The build quality is excellent and it immediately gives you confidence that it’s designed to deal with serious theft attempts. One of the main reasons I chose the X1 was its reputation for being highly resistant to angle grinder attacks, which gave me a lot more peace of mind compared to cheaper locks.
One thing that did surprise me at first is that it’s a bit smaller than I originally expected. My initial plan was to use it mainly to lock the bike to something solid, like a ground anchor or street furniture. Because of the size that’s not always possible depending on what you're locking to, but it actually works really well when I put it through the spokes of my motorcycle wheel instead. It still feels extremely secure and is very quick and easy to use that way.
Another thing I really like is how lightweight it is for such a strong lock. It doesn’t feel like a burden to carry around, which makes it much more practical for everyday use. It also comes with a small carry pouch, which is really useful for transporting it—especially if the lock gets dirty from being in and around the spokes.

No longer having secure parking and having to park my bike in the driveway, I was very apprehensive to say the least about moving home. I had the normal sold secure chains and locks but they were cumbersome and I have seen so many videos online where thieve's with angle grinders have still cut through them relatively easily. After being in my new home for a month, sleeping with the window open in the middle of winter, just in case I would be woken up by someone trying to steal my motorbike...I'd had enough. I'd seen some ads for litelock on social media and decided to look into them in more detail and having seen people, even in other countries recommend them...I just went out and bought the X1 hoping it was a worthy investment to try introduce some calm into what has now become a regular activity of checking my bike multiple times a night. I'm so pleased that I bought it and now will be buying a second so I can have one on each wheel and get rid of the awkward heavy chains and locks I currently use on the other wheel. Extremely good quality, easy to put on and a major deterrent to any potential thieves.. it will certainly give me time to react should someone attempt to cut through it. 100% recommended.

So I decided to bite the bullet and get some decent protection for my pride and joy, enter stage left Litelok X1! So to start with it’s light, so light you can just chuck it in its carrying pouch and stash in your backpack without even realising its there, it fits nicely through my disk and wheel spoke and locks easily and smoothly. The rubber coating protects the paintwork and also makes if grippy in the wet, I love this lock so much I am about to trade in my partner’s kryptonite chain for one of these, it’s a no brainer when you compare the weight and ease of carrying it around with you. I have to say that I've been riding for over 7 years and always had a healthy paranoia about leaving my bike anywhere for any length of time, using boss disc locks previously, but the X1 Moto solves all of this, I was so pleased I bought 2 and I'm thinking of a third. It's just the right size to work with the spoked and cast wheels and small enough to carry on my tail bags. Brilliant - highly recommended - you shouldn't be disappointed or regret this purchase.

I had 3 guys attempt to steal my bike from a retail park yesterday, they managed to smash my £60 alarmed disc lock into a thousand pieces in less than a minute, then they tried to break my Litelok which was on my rear wheel and after several failed attempts they decided to run away on mopeds, the only damage to the Litelok was the small tear in the outer rubber shell. If it wasn’t for the Litelok they would have taken the bike in under 3 minutes. Big thanks to Litelok for such a reliable product I would DEFINITELY recommend getting one to anybody looking to stop the thieves!
