Tactical Mount for LITELOK X1

I was looking for a grinder resistant bike lock and after trying another brand and returning it due to it being heavier than advertised I discovered the Litelock website and ordered the X1 and tactical Mount. The lock is excellent quality and feels solid. It is exactly as described, and perfect for my needs. The matt finish feels premium and helps protect my bike against scratches. The lock is easy to operate and has a protective rubber cover to prevent dust and grime entering the keyhole. The lock is robust and looks like it will take a drop should an accident happen. It comes with a protective cloth bag which is useful when carrying the lock in a rucksack should you not want to use the tactical bike mount. I am also pleased to see it is manufactured in the UK. I would highly recommend this bike lock and would purchase another.

The mounting system is not designed for complex, chunky folding e-bikes, yet my Lextric xp4 is expensive enough it HAD to have an angle grinder resistant U-lock, after some Mcgivering I managed to find a spot with enough space to attach the holder and the U-lock, it's not perfect and I have to twist the whole holder away to attach-detach the U-lock and twist it back in place so mu foot doesn't touch the thing when pedaling, pretty sure this isn't how it is meant to work. But it works

The tactical mount is perfect for me because it holds the lock very securely -- no rattling around -- and very compactly. It's out of the way, and now I don't have to think about whether or not to take my lock. I was surprised at how solid the bracket feels and how securely it holds the lock. It's simplified my life! The LiteLok was the only grinder-resistant lock I could find that came with a decent frame mount; and so far, it works great for me. I'm short and ride on a 48 cm frame, and as you can see in the video, the lock + frame fits in the frame diamond. Because my bike is so small, I don't have room for a water bottle cage as well; but in general, if I'm riding in the city (where I need a lock), I'm not using the cage anyway.

Having spent hard earned money on two UTO Afternoon 20 foldaway ebikes for our motorhome, I wanted the best security. Following research on Youtube, I chose the Supreme Urban Bundle as it contained two locks keyed alike so we only need to take one key on our rides together. I also bought two mounting brackets which unfortunately wouldn't fit due to the diameter and shape of the frame. However, the position I have mounted them is not just practical but is easy to remove, doesn't hinder the rider, doesn't damage the paintwork and is, subjectively, aesthetically pleasing.

Two close friends have just ordered the same bikes and locks on my recommendation.

Unbeknown to me, my eldest son bought the same lock to secure his ebike a few months ago and as it is a more conventional design has been able to use one of my mounting brackets.
