Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Lighter than I thought, makes easier for daughter to carry. Takes a min to work out best way to put on but once figured out, on/off in no time.

I use the Litelok X1 (Bike-Version) to secure my Lemmo-e-bike where it does a really good job.
I bought it with the X1 Tactical Mount that keeps the lock in its place and out of the way when driving with the bike. The lock makes a good impression and I'm not afraid to leave my bike alone as long at is locked like this.

I tested the Litelok X1 for a year with my Jean Fork 2 and my cargo bike bags, and frankly, it's a great lock that perfectly meets my daily needs.
Practical use
It can be attached to the bags in two seconds: you put the handle around it, presto, and it's locked. The small plastic cover on the opening protects very well from dust and bumps, and since it is neither too small nor too big (circumference approximately 101 x 196 mm), it fits everywhere, posts, racks, even with thick frames. With my bags loaded, it stays stable and doesn't move.
Strength and weight
At 1.7 kg, it's lightweight for such a sturdy U, The Tactical Mount, carrying stand is convenient for attaching it to the frame, and it even fits into a backpack without a problem.
Final verdict
Super happy, it is practical on a daily basis, and the price is right for this quality.
Perfect for me who rides a lot by bike in Lyon. I recommend it with my eyes closed!

I bought this as an extra layer of security and it seems to do the trick. My only cons would be it is slightly too narrow to fit over the front tyre so you have to jiggle it a bit but too thick to go through the brake disc. Easy to put in a back pack or strap to the seat.

I bought the Litelok X1 mainly for riding in London where bike theft is a constant concern, and it’s made a big difference to how confident I feel locking up. The build quality is excellent, it feels very solid without being overly heavy like some high-security locks.
It’s a good balance between security and practicality. I can lock the frame and rear wheel to a fixed object without struggling, which is exactly what I need for day-to-day use. It’s also compact enough that I don’t mind carrying it on rides.
Overall, it does exactly what I wanted, gives proper peace of mind without being a hassle to use. Definitely worth it if you’re locking up in a city.
