Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the most D-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces for rattle-free riding.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for £14.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I have a really nice bike and thought it can't hurt to have the Litelok X1 for some added security. It locks and unlocks smoothly and looks good. I have a step though bike, so using the mount that came with it doesn't make much sense, but it is a well thought out design.
I'm sure the angle grinder theives will make it to my city, eventually, if they aren't here already. I will be prepared.

Very happy with my Litelok X1 for my Ebike.
It is obviously a sturdy piece of equipment and I am confident it will make thieves think (at least) twice about trying to steal my bike.

I used it a few times and it works like a charm, so far nobody tried to cut it, so I can only assume it would be a challenge for them. But the built is very sturdy, well made and easy to operate and not too heavy. What more can I ask for?

I upgraded my 15 yr old Kryptonite lock with this Litelok X1. It's smoother and more secure and weighs about the same the old lock. But, with the Litelok, I feel much more secure locking up my bike in Portland, a town with a reputation for bike theft.

So far so good. The lock is easy to use. Fits of most things you'd expect a u lock to fit on. It's heavy but not a big deal is you use the mount they send you.

I pack many miles daily on my cargo e-bike and my lite lok X1 has always secured my bike. I believe it works as a visual deterrent and keeps bad guys looking for easier targets. Maybe Litelok’s reputation works! Other bikes have been tampered with, but so far, no attempts on mine!

Exceptional engineering & quality. Also the manufacturing of the barrel lock is far superior to any other angle grinder resistant lock . There is little point in having a lock that can is angle grinder resistant if the barrel can be drilled out !! It's like having a strong door in a flimsy doorframe! Also 100% made in UK ..
