Feels Amazing!
After several hours research on the web watching test videos, it seems quite obvious that the Litelok X3 is the strongest lock out there. I got some of the best U locks, but the LITELOK X3 is another level above. The construction is phenomenal, it feels massively sturdy, and after seeing the test videos, I feel very confident leaving my bike to go shopping and else, I love it and would feel as safe with anything else.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patented anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

What a fantastic, high-quality product. Fit and finish is excellent, having the Abloy Sentry core gives that extra reassurance, and the various attack tests online mean I’m confident that my bike will remain where I leave it. For my current bike, it is complete overkill, costing considerably more than the bike itself, but it’s good to know that any future bikes will be adequately protected. Portable angle grinders just weren’t a thing when I bought both my bike and old Kryptonite lock. Side-by-side, you can feel the improvements.

Nothing is Thief proof, but I reckon the X3 is as close as you can get, fits the front wheel on my Himalayan 450 with a bit of room to spare allowing me to run my ground anchor chain through it when parked up. The X3 is slightly too small to go over the rear wheel.
I added the RBF tag as I'm old and forgetful, attempting to ride the motorcycle would not end well for the bike or rider!

Fit front wheel fine, but not on the back wheel. Really good quality. Doing 6 days around Europe in September, us this as main lock, hope it don’t get tested!!!

As per the product description this weighs 2.1kg so keep this in mind if you're going to be cycling for any greater distances and presumably carrying this with you. I can't realistically expect any opportunist theft to even bother trying to break this lock as its appearance alone makes a statement of "f*%k off!". The lock is expensive however it cost over £12k to replace my bike with a brand new one. The key mechanism can be slightly awkward to open sometimes. Some cyclist may prefer to go with the X1 which is slightly lighter but offers less resistance to thieves.

Bought an X3 and very pleased with it. Certainly feels and looks the part. I hope it never gets put to the test although I'm sure it'll do it's job very well.

I have absolute confidence in the lock, my only worry was whether I could fit it on my speed RX.
Plenty of photos of the lock fitted to street triples, a couple of it fitted to speed 1050s but non of it fitted to a speed 1200. Bit of a leap of faith.
But it does, so it worked.
I bought a bundle (2x 'x3's) could really do with litelok producing a link piece like their rivals to tie two bike together with the same grinder resistance as the lock. As they say" the chain is only as strong as the weakest link".
