LITELOK X3 Saves Motorcycle in Stockport #114

Isaac recently got in touch with us to share his experience of an attempted motorcycle theft in Stockport. The incident happened outside the Redrock cinema on February 15th and involved his brand-new bike, making the situation all the more unsettling.

"It happened in Stockport outside the redrock cinema on 15/2/26. The bike was brand new and valued at £2,800."

Bike thieves often choose locations where they believe they’ll have enough uninterrupted time to work. "It was locked to a bike stand with the Litelok X3 and a large group of lads in balaclavas saw the bike and attempted to smash off the lock with a large stone brick and after they had been going at it for 20 minutes or so the police arrived as it had been phoned in by a passer by and they were scared off."

From what Isaac described, these individuals didn’t appear to be professional thieves. While brute force with a stone or brick might defeat a basic, thin lock, it’s completely ineffective against the LITELOK X range.
