Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium™ that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium™ meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium™, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium™, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium™ layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I got the X1 and X3 bundle with 2 x free tactical mounts.
Both locks are of excellent quality and give me a few different ways to lock the motorbike up. I have just completed a 2 week tour of Europe (Alps) and locking the bike with both locks overnight, every night allowed me to relax knowing that the bike was protected as well as it could be. Let's hope they never need to be tested!
Just a couple of minor issues/suggestions -
1 - the decals (camo sticker) are not held on with a strong enough adhesive, just one test lock up had them peeling from the lock on both sides - this does however not effect the efficacy of the lock.
2 - I ordered the bundle using the next day delivery option and ordered prior to the delivery cut off time. The locks, however, were not delivered the following day - not a great service. When I phoned up to query the chap at LITELOK was apologetic and was going to refund the delivery money before realising I had qualified for free delivery. Luckily the locks arrived 2 days after ordering just in time to depart on my European tour.
3 - I strongly believe LITELOK should sell the shackles to the locks separately and also in different lengths to suit different applications.

This lock is a beast, heavy duty, smooth and easy key operation and a nice anti scratch finish so it doesn’t mark your precious. My only gripe: the X3 double combo package doesn’t come keyed alike and you only get 2 keys.

Well designed-love the key slot in the middle of the bar-not at one end-easier to use. Very substantially built and the rubber coating is holding up well. Would have been nice tio have a bracket that would hold the lock to the bike included in the price.

Can't really comment and strength as I don't wish to ruin it by testing it but it feels weighty and strong. Just slightly narrow to get around my wheel and my wheel isn't very wide. But I feel confident it will do it's job

I lock this on my bike within my parkade and take with me anytime I go out. Being in Houston bike theft is extremely high so this definitely helps along with a gps and bike chains!

Bought the x3 recently before a trip over to Europe. Was unsure of parking arrangements for the motorbikes and wanted some additional peace of mind. The x3 was perfect, light and compact enough to to be easy to carry and big enough to go around the front wheel and tyre. Thankfully it's strength was never tested but I feel better having it.
