Reflective Strips
X3 locks are finished with Onyx Black retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium™ that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium™ meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

The X3 really is confidence inspiring. I already owned an X1 and have been impressed with its lightweight, portable security, so it was only logical that the X3 should join the party. It is a fair bit chunkier than the X1, but I like that. It barely weighs much more than the X1, and the added security is great to have.
I love its premium feel, the lock is also buttery smooth. Once you've found the perfect place to lock it based on your machine's quirks, it's great.
I'm now feeling even more confident that my bike will be in the same place I left it. The X3 has made my daily ride and touring that much more safe. The cost might be a stretch for some, but it really is better than your insurance premium climbing due to theft.

Great quality lock just wish the opening was a little wider then it would fit over the rim and tyre. It fits through the spokes ok. Just think with being so difficult to cut someone could cut the wheel it's self then ride off and only have to buy a new front wheel later.

Did a lot of research on motorcycle locks as my motor bike is my pride and joy . I ride to work and I tour when I can . I brought the LITELOK X3,., when I leave my motor bike it is as secure as I can make it and I hope that if any one attempts to steal my bike they will go for the easier bike to steal . The lock it’s self is big but not to heavy to carry and the lock and key are well designed and feels solid Looks good and feels strong let’s hope it never gets tested and prevents a thief . Was expensive but you get what you pay for .
