Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

It's a bike lock. It works, I still have my bike. I guess I won't really know how good it is until someone tries to steal the bike. But a really good Abloy lock, and being grinder resistant make it the best choice for me.

Locks arrived promptly. Both locks x3 and x1 came with a pouch to keep them in. Lock seems extremely robust and from the many reviews I’ve watched before purchase it seems to be extremely resilient to attack. Very pleased with purchase only downside it only just fits over front wheel and tyre but does go through wheel and disk on rear.

The lock is solid. It is a bit heavier than i had thought it would be but for the security it gives is great. Not as big as i thought it would be for my scrambler lock locations are tight but still workable. I also use it on my gravel bike with the carrier it came with and that is great. I feel very safe walking away from my bikes.

This is a great lock, very strong, I have peace of mind knowing my ebike will be safe locked up when i leave it ,to go shopping or see freinds, No more panking and anxiety at wondering if my bike is still where i left it! The litelok is wide enough to thread through posts and then through the bike to lock it safely, All though some reviews state the lite lok is heavy its not to heavy and i am a 9 stone lady, and its not to heavy to use, I have the bracket too, which is handy and carrys the lite lok safely on my bike,I have now ordered the lite lok noose, just to deter any potential thiefs, I am very happy with my final decision to buy this type of lock after intensive research and utube videos, of different types of locks ,by far this is the best one, Nothing beats peace of mind of locking up your bike and walking away out of sight,
