Hackney is a vibrant part of East London, but like many city spots, it’s not immune to bike theft. Christopher had parked his motorbike, valued at £6,500, confident that his LITELOK X1 would keep it secure while he caught up with a friend.

The incident happened on 24th October. As Christopher recalls:

"24th October - The timing I would not know exactly, but when I went to get my bike it was around 23:00."

At some point during the evening, thieves made an attempt to steal his motorbike. But thanks to his security setup, their plans didn’t succeed.

"After a lot of research, I decided to go with the Litelok for my first motorbike lock, and I’m so glad I did. Despite the name, which suggests it’s light, this lock is surprisingly durable—light enough to carry daily, but strong enough to withstand an angle grinder attack. In fact, there’s already been an attempted theft of my bike, and the lock held up perfectly, with the thieves failing to get through. Christopher explained how he had secured his bike:
