Jon recently reached out to us to share their experience with an attempted theft of their E-Bike.
"I was parked near Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA, United States. It was over the weekend on a Sunday in the early afternoon (around 1 or 2pm). I had parked my Velotric Fold 1 Plus ($1500 bike value) to an in-the-ground bike lock post."
Jon also used a small, light duty security cable to secure the front wheel, but it was the LITELOK X1 that stopped the would be bike thieves in their tracks.
"I biked over to the Fresh Pond reservation (3 miles) and went to walk around the park there with my family for around an hour or two."
