Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces for rattle-free riding.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for £14.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

My first impression was “It’s anything but light”! As I am using an electric bike the weight is of little consequence. It does feel solid.
It came with its quick release mount which I am using and locking your bike with this lock gives some assurance that your bike is going to be there when you get back.
I am looking forward to seeing the cable/strap locks when they become available.

Brilliant little lock - bought because of solid online reviews in particular against grinder attack. Not been tested yet thankfully however fits perfectly on my Vespa around the front shock and wheel, and is small and light enough to throw in the underseat storage.

It's difficult to know what to say about this lock, as until somebody tries to steal my bike, and hopefully fail, I've no idea how good it really is. For all I know, would be thieves are taking one look at and moving on because they know how good it is. That would be a great result.
What I can say, is that it seems well made. It's reassuringly heavy. I've had no issues with the key engaging in the barrel, it had worked flawlessly in that respect. The size also feels about perfect, not too short and not too long. The frame mounted holder is ok but it does allow the lock to rattle, which is a shame. Nor is it as versatile as the Kryptonite holder, so there is room for improvement there. I do like the reflective details and rubber coating, although this has left marks on my frame, although these are relatively easily cleaned off. The neoprene case is a nice touch of your are carrying the lock in your bag as it prevents and oil it may have picked up from the chain from getting all over the contents of your bag.
The bottom line though, is that I'm confident that my bike is safe when left locked up and that means that I use my bike for little errands that I might previously have thought twice about. That's a game changer.

I think the concept and security of the lock are very good. However, I would like it to be a little longer. In many everyday situations where you have to lock your bike, it's too short. It only works really well if you can lock the bike directly to a traffic sign post.
